The Japanese yen climbed against its most major opponents in early New York deals on Thursday.
The yen rose to 114.03 against the greenback, from near a 1-year low of 114.55 hit at 7:15 pm ET.
The yen advanced to a 3-week high of 114.93 against the franc, after falling to 115.61 at 5:45 pm ET.
The yen reversed from an early low of 88.98 against the loonie, edging up to 88.54.
The yen appreciated to more than 2-week highs of 80.77 against the aussie and 74.05 against the kiwi, from its early lows of 81.42 and 74.63, respectively.
The yen is seen finding resistance around 113.00 against the greenback, 114.00 against the franc, 86.00 against the loonie, 79.00 against the aussie and 72.00 against the kiwi.
