Taiwan's unemployment rate remained unchanged in September, the Directorate General of Budget Accounting & Statistics or DGBAS said Monday.
The jobless rate held steady at a seasonally adjusted 3.7 percent in September. On an unadjusted basis, the unemployment rate fell 0.11 percentage points to 3.76 percent.
The number of unemployed increased to adjusted 440,000 from 439,000 in August. At the same time, employment totaled 11.45 million versus 11.44 million a month ago.
Further, data showed that the labor force participation rate came in at 59.03 percent versus 59.01 percent a month ago.
