The manufacturing sector in Taiwan continued to contract in November, and at a faster rate, the latest survey from Nikkei revealed with a manufacturing PMI score of 48.4.
That's down from 48.7 in October, and it moves further beneath the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.
Individually, production contracted further amid steep declines in total new work and export sales.
Buying activity contracted at the quickest pace since September 2015.
