Sweden economic sentiment rose for a fourth consecutive month in September to its highest level since November, survey data from the National Institute of Economic Research showed Thursday.
The economic tendency indicator climbed to 111.7 from a revised 111.6 in August. Economists had forecast a score of 110.3.
The consumer confidence indicator rose to 103.6 from a revised 103.1 in the previous month. The reading was the highest since February. Economists had expected a score of 102.3.
In contrast, the manufacturing confidence index dropped to 117.5 from 122 in August. That was the lowest score since June. Economists had forecast a reading of 119.5.
