Slovenia's industrial production growth continued in August, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia reported Wednesday.
Industrial production grew 6.9 percent year-on-year in August after a 5.8 percent rise in July.
On a monthly basis, industrial output expanded 2 percent in August following a 0.3 percent gain in the previous month.
The mining and quarrying output grew 5.3 percent, manufacturing went up 2.0 percent and the electricity, gas and steam supply production rose 1.9 percent during the month.
Among the main industrial groupings, consumer goods output rose 7.8 percent monthly, while the intermediate goods production was broadly unchanged. Meanwhile, capital goods output fell 4.8 percent.
