Slovakia's EU measure of inflation slowed in September, data from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic showed Wednesday.
The harmonized index of consumer prices, or HICP, grew 2.7 percent annually in September, after rising 2.9 percent in August.
The agency reported earlier that the overall consumer price inflation eased to 2.7 percent from 2.8 percent in the previous month.
The slowdown was led by a 6.1 percent decline in transport costs.
Core inflation eased to 3.0 percent from 3.2 percent in the previous month.
On a month-on-month basis, the HICP was flat in September, following a 0.2 percent uptick in the previous month.
