Slovakia's economic sentiment weakened for a sixth straight month in October, amid significant deterioration in industrial confidence, survey data from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic showed on Monday.
The economic sentiment indicator fell to 98 from 98.5 in September. The reading has dropped steadily since May.
The industrial confidence index decreased sharply to -3 from 2.7 with significant weakness in the morale in the services sector.
In contrast, confidence improved in the retail trade and construction sectors.
The consumer confidence indicator dropped to -3.5 from -3.3 in September.
