Romania's industrial producer price inflation slowed slightly in August, preliminary figures from the National Institute of Statistics showed Tuesday.
Industrial producer prices rose 5.9 percent year-on-year, after a 6 percent climb in July. In June, prices rose 6.1 percent.
Producer prices for the domestic market rose 5.9 percent following a 5.6 percent increase in the previous month. Export market prices grew 5.7 percent after a 6.5 rise in July.
Compared to the previous month, producer prices rose 0.64 percent in August.
