Portugal's industrial producer prices accelerated for a fifth straight month in August, figures from Statistics Portugal showed Wednesday.
The producer price index rose 4.6 percent year-on-year following 4.5 percent in July.
Producer prices have been rising steadily since April.
Excluding energy, producer prices climbed 1.9 percent year-on-year in August, same as in July.
On a month-on-month basis, producer prices rose 0.2 percent in August, same as in July.
