The total number of building permits in New Zealand issued in November was down a seasonally adjusted 2.0 percent on month in November, Statistics New Zealand said on Friday - coming in at 3,120.
That follows the downwardly revised 1.4 percent increase in October (originally 1.5 percent).
In the year ended November 2018, the actual number of new dwellings consented was 32,783, up 5.3 percent on year.
The annual value of non-residential building work consented was NZ$7.0 billion, up an annual 6.6 percent.
