The manufacturing sector in Myanmar moved into expansion territory in November, the latest survey from Nikkei revealed on Monday with a manufacturing PMI score of 51.3.
That's up from 48.0 in October, and it moves above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.
It also marked the first expansionary score since May.
Individually, production and new business increased at a solid rate, while inflationary pressures eased.
