The manufacturing sector in Malaysia continued to contract in November, and at a faster rate, the latest survey from Nikkei revealed with a manufacturing PMI score of 48.2.
That's down from 49.2 in October, and it moves further beneath the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.
Individually, output and new orders fell at faster rates, while firms scaled back stocks on inputs and finished goods. Cost pressures were elevated.
