Latvia's producer price inflation accelerated for the third straight month in August, figures from the Central Statistical Bureau showed Friday.
Industrial producer prices climbed 5.7 percent year-over-year in August, faster than the 4.8 percent increase in July. The measure has been rising since February 2017.
Among main groups, the price index for the utility sector advanced 12.2 percent annually and manufacturing prices went up by 4.0 percent.
Both domestic and foreign market prices grew 7.7 percent and 3.9 percent, respectively in August.
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 1.0 percent from July, when it increased by 0.9 percent.
