Latvia's industrial production grew at the fastest pace in nearly a year during August, preliminary data from the Central Statistical Bureau showed Thursday.
Industrial production rose a calendar-adjusted 6.5 percent year-on-year in August after a 3.6 percent increase in July.
The pace of growth was the fastest since September 2017, when output rose 12.9 percent.
Manufacturing output increased 3.9 percent, marking the biggest gain in six months.
Compared to the previous month, industrial production grew 2.3 percent following a 1.9 percent gain in July. That was the biggest increase since February, when output rose 4 percent.
