Hungary July Trade Surplus Revised Lower

Hungary's merchandise trade surplus for July was revised lower, latest data from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office showed Tuesday. The trade surplus figure for July was revised down to EUR 362 million from EUR 373 million reported on September 7. The volume of exports rose 11 percent and that of imports grew 9.4 percent from a year ago.

During the January to July period, the trade surplus was EUR 4.58 billion versus EUR 4.90 billion in the same month last year. In euro, the exports value increased 5.7 percent year-on-year and imports grew 6.8 percent.
