Hong Kong Business PMI Sinks To 47.1 In November - Nikkei

The private sector in Hong Kong continued to contract in November, and at a faster rate, the latest survey from Nikkei revealed on Wednesday with a PMI score of 47.1.

That's down from 48.6 in October, and it moves farther beneath the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.

Individually, declines in output and new orders accelerated, with exports to China falling sharply.

Business confidence sank to its lowest level since early 2016 as a results of the trade war between China and the United States.
