At 5.00 am ET Tuesday, Germany's ZEW economic sentiment survey for December is due. Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro held steady against the greenback and the yen, it fell against the pound and the franc.
The euro was worth 128.71 against the yen, 1.1231 against the franc, 1.1382 against the greenback and 0.9017 against the pound as of 4:55 am ET.
