Denmark's industrial production decreased in September after rising in the previous month, preliminary figures from Statistics Denmark showed on Wednesday.
Industrial production decreased 0.4 percent from August, when it grew a revised 0.3 percent. In July, output rose 1.2 percent.
The furniture and other industry group, with a decline of 9.2 percent, contributed the most to the decline. The transport industry output shrunk 17.8 percent. Mechanical industry output increased 16.9 percent.
On a year-on-year basis, industrial production grew 3.7 percent in September.
Production grew 1 percent sequentially in the third quarter.
