Croatia's retail sales grew at a faster rate in August, preliminary data from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics showed on Friday.
Retail sales in volume terms rose a working-day adjusted 3.1 percent year-on-year following a 2.2 percent increase in July. The pace of growth was the strongest since May, when sales climbed 7.9 percent.
On a month-on-month basis, retail sales increased a seasonally and working-day adjusted 0.7 percent in August after declining in the previous two months.
During the January to August period, retail sales rose 3.5 percent from the same period last year.
