Bulgaria's producer prices rose in September, led by the increase in prices in the utility sector, figures from the National Statistical Institute showed on Tuesday.
The producer price index in industry rose 3.7 percent year-on-year with those for the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply climbing 4.2 percent.
Producer prices for the manufacturing sector grew 3.8 percent.
Domestic market producer prices 3.1 percent from a year ago and 0.3 percent from the previous month. Non-domestic market producer prices climbed 4.5 percent and 0.4 percent from the previous month.
Compared to the previous month, producer prices grew 0.3 percent in September.
