Bulgaria's inflation accelerated in September after remaining steady in the previous month, preliminary data from the National Statistical Institute showed on Monday.
The consumer price index rose 3.6 percent year-on-year following 3.5 percent in both July and August.
The transport sub-group logged the biggest increase of 8.4 percent, followed by restaurants and hotels with a 5.1 percent increase. Utility costs grew 4.6 percent.
Clothing and footwear was the only sub-group registering a decline.
Compared to the previous month, the CPI rose 0.3 percent in September.
