Bulgaria's construction output decreased in August after a modest rebound in the previous month, the National Statistical Institute showed on Tuesday.
The construction production index declined 1.1 percent year-on-year after rising by the same rate in July. Output fell in each of the four months prior to that.
Building construction shrunk 2.8 percent year-on-year following a 0.2 percent gain. Meanwhile, civil engineering grew for a second straight month, up 1.1 percent.
On a month-on-month basis, construction output decreased 0.6 percent in August after a 1.4 percent increase in July.
